Germplasm bank of sandalwood of 38 clones originated from the diverse origin viz; Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh established (restocking) in 2003 – 2004 at Gottipura, near Bangalore.

Germplasm bank of seedling material of sandal wood from 20 sources from various parts of the country, particularly from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh was established during 2007 as a source base material for future improvement.
Germplasm bank of Jatropha curcus consisting 24 sources from various regions of Karnataka was established during 2006 at Nallal, near Bangalore.
Germplasm bank of 21 industrially important bamboo species was established during 2005-2006 at Gottipura, near Bangalore. This germplasm bank consist candidate plus clumps (CPCs) plants of eight industrially important bamboo species.
