The Institute of Wood Science and Technology (IWST), Bangalore, under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, imparts trainings for forest departments, wood based industries, academicians, farmers and other stakeholders.
Accordingly, a three days training course on “Sandalwood Cultivation and its Prospects” under the Umbrella Scheme “Forestry Training and Capacity Building - Training of Other Stakeholders” is scheduled to be conducted at IWST during 27th – 29th November 2024 to cover the training and exposure needs of various stakeholders which includes NGOs, students and teachers from educational institutions, nature clubs/eco-clubs, panchayats, elected representatives, personnel from banking institutions, social activists, press and media persons etc.are of the boarding and lodging (twin sharing basis) needs of the trainees during the training period. The institute will also pay the to and fro admissible travel expenses (BUS or TRAIN FARE from your place to IWST, Bengaluru) which will be transferred directly to your bank account (upon submission of original tickets and bank account details).

Shortlisted participants will be sent separate letters for confirmation.
