Research Activities
R&D activities on Wood based panel materials such as plywood, particleboard, Medium density fibreboards (MDF), LVL, Block Board and Flush door etc. which involves
Optimization of the process parameters for producing wood based panels from plantation grown timber and to study their suitability for manufacturing panels for various end uses.
Optimization of the process parameter for utilizing agro residues and agro wastes for producing panels of different densities.
Contributing as active member in interdisciplinary teams of in-house and sponsored projects
Technical consultancy in solving floor level problems involving machineries and mechanical systems in plywood manufacturing units
Onsite training for technical staff in plywood industries and bamboo primary processing machines

Theory and practical classes on Plywood Manufacturing Technology (PMT), Sawmilling Technology (SMT) and Saw Doctoring Technology (SDT)
