Profile
Has about 18 years of Experience in Research & Development related to – testing and evaluation of products from wood and other lignocellulosic materials, Eco friendly bamboo houses, prefabricated bamboo housing system for disaster mitigation, bamboo waling system. Contributed in revision and formulating Standards related to Civil Engineering Division CED 13 under Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi. Has been nominated as Nodal Officer for developing disaster management plan for MoEF&CC, and also nominated by competent authority in the MoEF&CC, Govt of India as a Member of Annual General Meeting of IPIRTI Society. Awarded as “Young Achiever Award” for work in Bamboo Composite Housing system. Conducting theory and practical classes for one month certified course and short term courses related to wood physics and testing of panel products, plywood manufacturing etc.
